ili is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter and performer born and raised in Glasgow. Since the age of 9, ili has been performing all over the UK . Formerly known as 'Emily Middlemas' she has undergone a huge rebrand and is currently releasing new music where her main goal is to spread love, happiness and shivers. With a genuine online presence, ili has a deep connection with her fans who are eager to hear new music. She has also gained online attraction from the likes of Shania Twain, Willow Smith, Summer Walker and RAYE. ili's new sound is deeply inspired by her idols and the music she grew up listening to, from the likes of Fleetwood Mac, ELO and Queen. She has connected with her live music routes where she has written and produced her lead single 'Time Goes By' in her bedroom which sparked support from BBC Radio London, Amazing Radio, Wonderland Magazine and landed NUMBER 4 on the iTunes singer/songwriter charts. Shortly following her recent success, she has released a new single called '2 Cool 2 Be Somebody' which delivers flavours from the 80s with a modern twist.
